OUR MISSION
Our Dream…
That together as the Body of Christ, we bridge every break within our ranks and humbly bow before heaven as one people in prayer – that genuine repentance would revive every pulpit and every parish in America.
Our Hope…
A Special Request to Shepherds
Dear Pastor:
As one of God’s “gatekeepers” to your city, you have the power to make this vision a reality. Bear in mind, we don’t count ourselves worthy of bringing this call to the Church, nor do we presume to be more capable than yourself to communicate these truths; we simply want to come alongside you and your fellow pastors, believing God has issued this nationwide call for such a time as this. Your people trust you; they don’t know us. Young and old, they will follow you. Please encourage them to do so, by personally standing with us and walking with us as an illustrated sermon of Repentance in Unity.
Our Conviction…
We believe authentic repentance brings life and restores hope: Behold, I make all things new. (Revelation 21:5)
We believe God calls us all to repent not only for our individual sins, but also identificationally for the sins of His people: …we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name. (Daniel 9:18-19)
We believe as the Church* goes, so goes the nation: If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
We believe the ingathering of signatures on our prayer-petition reflects an honest response to God’s call to confession and repentance: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9)
We believe if we repent in unity as one Church, bridging denominations and demographics, we will reveal Christ to this nation—and beyond: …that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (John 17:21)
We believe God is calling up a spiritual brigade to prayerwalk our nation as an illustrated sermon of our urgent need to re-possess His promises for this land: Every place where the sole of your foot will tread I have given you… (Joshua 1:3)
We believe the echo of our footsteps will awaken the heart of the Church nationwide: And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. (Romans 13:11)
*Church (capitol “C”) denotes the body of Christ collectively: all those who know Christ as their Lord and Savior, regardless of what “church” (lower-case “c”) they identify with.
