Deanna and I are flying to California as I write you. We just passed over the Mississippi and could see the flooding from 35,000 feet. Let’s agree together…
Merciful Savior, pour our Your peace and provision! Be glorified in the selfless generosity of Your people as we come to our neighbors’ aid. As humanitarian needs are met, may the dry places in Your children’s hearts be flooded by a tsunami of Your unfathomable love and comfort. Come Lord Jesus! Amen. (See aid link below)
This will be our fourth time back to the Central Coast since we re-started our mission there with the debut of the Apology from the Pulpit. Deanna and I have been invited back to minister at a large regional gathering this Sunday night, exactly six months since the landmark prayerwalk on Pismo Beach. Please pray for us.
The breakthrough being experienced there, especially among pastors-and-leaders, continues to build. God’s people are wrecked. Hallelujah! Unworthy as we (all) are, we believe God is fanning the flames for this catalytic movement of repentance-in-unity to spread across the country! And so…
When we get back from this current (five-state) trip in late June, we will be making preparations for a 66-city, one-year tour around the country to come alongside pastors, inviting them in advance to join us for a cross-country “Pastors’ Prayerwalk,” before finishing our regional RU4ONE prayerwalks in 70 regions across the country.
Due to health challenges, which we’ve shared before, we’ve been “pregnant” with these plans for quite some time. But throughout, God’s tenderness has been sweeter than we’ve ever known. So with ALL the glory going to Him, we declare these plans under His mandated caveat: IF THE LORD WILLS.
And as you might well imagine, we will need more help than ever before. More soon…
It is a very humbling thing to be so loved by so many…truly overwhelming. We cannot express how much you mean to us. Thank you.
With love from us both,
